Skiing at Snowshoe
A nice big group of Blue Ridge Mountain Rescue’s past and present headed up to Snowshoe this weekend for some skiing and snowboarding. Saturday treated us to nice weather and ok conditions. We were hoping to do some cross country skiing too but the recent warm weather meant there wasn’t enough natural snow. After a day of skiing the rest of the weekend was spent eating, relaxing, playing games, sleeping, and hiding from the high winds and -20 windchill. Also, Constance got a lot of studying done and taught Dan how to dance, despite their 3 foot height difference. Lots of pictures here and a video here.
